The wind farm of Erbray, master of the wind in Loire-Atlantique
The first wind farm of the Pays-de-la-Loire region, the wind farm of Erbray was commissioned on 22 December 2006. This wind farm is composed of 5 imposing wind turbines that stand 120.5 metres high, including 85 metres for the mast. With their blades of 35.5 metres, they harness the wind to transform its force into a total capacity of 11.5 MW, i.e. 18.5 GWh a year. About 7,300 inhabitants are supplied with renewable electricity thanks to this technology.
